Research
What we aim for
The goal of the ENZE network is to derive novel and actionable research results that promote the uptake and implementation of research findings in society. Likely research topics include:
- efficiency considerations of reaching net zero emissions in Switzerland,
- economic implications of climate change and climate policy,
- economic analyses of secondary benefits of a net-zero emissions world, such as health benefits, improved air and water quality, and reduced waste,
- avoidance of unintended consequences of net-zero emissions, such as detrimental impacts on biodiversity, and
- opportunities and challenges of net-zero transformations.
The ENZE network seeks to access funding opportunities for its members and support them in learning from each other and in engaging with stakeholders.
2022 - Research Activities
In 2022, several research calls with respect to the net zero target are expected. We look forward to join forces among the members of our initiative and to succesfully apply for funding our research activities.
